Their life

Arvin Salami-Zad was sixteen years old and played for JAM Bushehr F.C. in Bushehr, on Iran's southern coast.

He was shot by direct fire on Ashouri Street in Bushehr on 8 January 2026 and taken to the Persian Gulf Hospital with eighteen pellets in his head. He never regained consciousness, and died on 23 January 2026 after fifteen days in a coma. He was buried three days later, on 26 January, at Tangak Cemetery in Bushehr, with only a few close family members permitted to attend.
